Leading the Summit Chase Country Club golf program since June 2016, Gene is a Class "A" member of the Professional Golfers Association of America. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Gene attended Purdue University and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He lived in Indianapolis and worked as a new product design engineer for Ingersoll-Rand. After seven years developing projects, he decided to pursue competitive golf, thus changing career paths and starting as an Assistant at The Fort Golf Course in Indianapolis. In 2005 he worked as the Assistant Golf Professional at White Columns Country Club. In 2006 he accepted the position of First Assistant Golf Professional at St. Ives Country Club.
Gene has experience in competitive golf, club fitting, tournament operations, junior programs, lessons (both private and group), and merchandising. His competitive accomplishments include qualifying for the Georgia Open, Atlanta Open, Georgia Assistants Cup Team, and a Hooters Tour Event.
Gene and his wife, Ashley along with their two sons, Beau and Banks live in Cumming with their dog Bella.
David H. Epps, Sr.

David is an Atlanta native who began his golf career at the age of eight as a caddy for his father, a charter member of Monroe Golf and Country Club in 1957. David graduated from the University of Georgia with his masters in education in 1971. He became a Class A PGA Professional in 1978. From 1980 until 1990 David was the Head Golf Professional here at Summit Chase. He moved on to the position of Director of Golf over the Canongate courses Flat Creek, Braelinn, and Planterra Ridge in Peachtree City until 2003. He then spent a brief time at Lanier Golf Club as a Golf Professional before returning to Summit Chase in 2005. David has two sons, David Jr. and Eric, and is also the proud grandfather to Lauren. David and his wife Sandra reside in Monroe.
